Gary Waldman is a grief-stricken former tennis coach slowly reentering the world after the death of his wife. Edward Schwarzschild is the author of Responsible Men and The Family Diamond. At the University at Albany, State University of New York, he is Associate Professor of English, Director of Creative Writing, and Fellow of the New York State Writers Institute.
