Description

When Edgar and Kianna's mother dies it is up to their Uncle Luis to drive them from Springfield, Massachusetts to Miami, Florida to live with their grandmother. Their journey sends them on many unexpected twists and turns as they learn about each other and themselves. About the Author
Elizabeth G. Slade is an author/educator who works to bring Montessori education into the public sector as a vehicle for social change. She is currently supporting the growth of Montessori programs in the Hartford Public Schools. She is the co-author of How to Raise a Peaceful Child in a Violent World and co-editor of Women. Period. Slade lives in western Massachusetts with her spouse and three children. Rest Stops is her first novel.
