Thuy Kieu (or Kieu), the good girl, because of an unfounded statement, her family was crumbled. Kieu had to sell her body to redeem her father, she fell into a Tu Ba and So Khanh's trap - and "from a bad luck to a bad luck, twice lives as a handmaid-twice live in a house of prostitution" (a verse from Nguyen Du's Poem). For a long time, Nguyen Du depended on the Kieu's story of the Thanh Tam Tai Nhan to write a perfect work: Doan Truong Tan Thanh or the Kieu's story. It is a painful scream of indignation that the honest people wanted to talk about with the "ruffian" domination. Today, the writer followed Nguyen Du and changed the Kieu's story to the language of cinema. When a mob of bailiffs was lived "all those disastrous events were after all due to money" (a verse from Nguyen Du's Poem), a painful scream was here.

He is a screenwriter and a director of many films as: Pearl Leaf Gold Branch (La Ngoc Canh Vang), My Lover Has Gotten Married (Nguoi Yeu Di Lay Chong), The Motive Profession (Duyen Nghiep), My Father And Two Women (Cha Toi Va Hai Nguoi Dan Ba). He won some prizes in the film festival of The Vietnam Cinema Association and the Vietnamese National Film Festival.
