Sort of like existentialists But unlike the existentialists he also took succor in life's little pleasures--by faith He found islands of satisfaction amid a sea of discontent. This graphic novel brings his ancient musings to modern university students who respond to his message of doom, gloom, and hope according to their individual philosophies. And watching this whole human drama unfold are two alien observers, a father and son scanning the galaxy to study interesting life. Therapist, cartoonist, and Christian existentialist Erik Johnson hopes this retelling of Ecclesiastes will bring a message of hope, with a dash of humor, to modern audiences.
