He is the author of several books, including Taunton's "Complete Illustrated Guide to Box Making "and" Basic Box Making. "He has also appeared in three feature-length DVD videos. Stowe teaches woodworking in his hometown of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, as well as at woodworking schools and clubs across the US. In 2009, he was selected as An Arkansas Living Treasure by the Arkansas Arts Council for his contributions to his craft of woodworking.
